I live at Staten Island, Forest Hill Rd NY 10314 and this October 8th lost our family pet of 11 years, 11 year old Green cheek Conure, Tweedy. Tweedy is an extremely cautious bird and was frighten probably by a predatory bird which caused a panic flight. It literally disappeared when I run after him turning the corner of the house. Tweedy is a typical Green cheek Conure, predominantly green with maroon tail, navy feathers on wings and red belly. It is a size of a small parrot. It does not have leg band.
